PAGE PERSONNEL SINGAPORE EXECUTIVE ASSISTANT OF THE YEAR 2016 AWARD TERMS & CONDITIONS

This Competition is conducted by Page Personnel (53295518L) a registered business of Michael Page International Pte Ltd (Company No: 199804751N) operating under Employment Agency Licence No.98C5473 (“PageGroup”) of One Raffles Place Tower 2, #09-61, Singapore 048616, telephone +65 6533 2777.

Entry into the Competition is deemed acceptance of these Terms and Conditions. PageGroup may at its discretion refuse to award any prize to any entrant who fails to comply with these Terms and Conditions.

Entry Criteria

Entry is open to all Singapore Citizens, Permanent Residents and Employment Pass holders in Singapore.

All entrants must be over 18 years of age.

Entrants must be currently employed in an Executive Assistant (EA), Personal Assistant (PA), or secretarial role, or any other role where their primary responsibility is providing support to one or more individuals.

Entrants need to have been in the role for a minimum of 3 months. The person reviewing your performance must be your current direct manager.

Entrants are not permitted to enter the Competition using more than one name or on behalf of any third party. Entrants that are discovered to have done so will be disqualified from the Competition without notice.

PageGroup employees and their immediate families are ineligible to enter.

Competition Period

The competition opens at 9:00am (SGT) on Wednesday 20 April, 2016 and closes at 11:59pm (SGT) Wednesday 1 June 2016.

Any entry or vote received after the expiry will be deemed invalid and will not be counted.

The winner will be announced at an award ceremony on 30 June , 2016.

How To Enter

There are two ways to enter this Competition:

OPTION 1

  1. Click on the link provided to access the application form at www.pagepersonnel.com.sg/entry
  2. Complete the application form questions and submit your entry
  3. When the entry has been approved, notification will be sent to you and your submission will be entered into the Competition.

OPTION 2

  1. Click on the link provided to access the nomination form at www.pagepersonnel.com.sg/nominate
  2. This Option 2 is only applicable if the entrant is nominated by their current Supervisor or Manager.
  3. If entrant is nominated by their current supervisor or manager, nomination notification will be sent to the entrant requesting the entrant to confirm their nomination and registration to the Competition. If PageGroup do not receive your confirmation, then the nominated submission will not be entered into the competition.

ALL decisions of PageGroup regarding the Competition are final and will be binding on all entrants and no correspondence will be considered.

The Top 10 Finalists

10 finalists will be selected by PageGroup’s panel of judges according to the merits of their submission of application and will be contacted directly by PageGroup.

In the event that any of the 10 finalists cannot be contacted, the judges may, at their discretion, determine that the finalist has withdrawn his or her application.

Judging Process

The judging process will be executed according to the point system below and is only applicable to the 10 finalists.

Based on review by judging panel (consist of 2 PageGroup executives and 8 external judges) after being shortlisted

One winner and one runner-up will be selected based on the above judging process.

Award and Prize Ceremony

All 10 finalists, and their supervisors or managers (or representatives from the company) will be invited to attend an award ceremony at 7pm on 30 June 2016.

The winner and runner-up will be announced at the ceremony. 

First Prize Winner

  • The First Prize winner will receive the following:
  • Two return flights on Scoot’s premium ScootBiz to Tokyo
  • 4 nights’ accommodation (room only) in a 4-star hotel at the winner’s chosen destination
  • A Kiehl’s hamper worth $200
  • A 60 minute hot stone massage for two by Spa Esprit
  • One pair of Browhaus cash vouchers
  • A one year subscription from the Singapore Women’s Weekly
  • A one year membership to Singapore Association of Administrative Professionals
  • A one-on-one career development session with Page Personnel

Runner-Up

  • The runner-up will receive the following prizes:
  • A one night stay at Amara Hotel,  Singapore
  • A Kiehl’s hamper worth $100
  • A 60 min classic sensational massage for two by Spa Esprit
  • A one year digital subscription to  Singapore Women’s Weekly
  • A one year membership to Singapore Association of Administrative Professionals
  • A one-on-one career development session with Page Personnel

The winner and the runner-up will also win an online job advertising package for their employer worth S$2,000.

Prize terms and conditions

ScootBiz airfare tickets and 4 nights’ accommodation (room only):

  • The approximate value of the air tickets and accommodation is SGD$5500
  • The prize is not convertible into cash and is not transferrable
  • Flights and accommodation are valid for 12 months from the winner announcement date, 30 June 2016 and must be used at the same time
  • Reservations must be made at least 4 weeks prior to departure date through PageGroup’s appointed travel agency and selected 4-star hotel, subject to availability.
  • The winner and their travel companion must travel together at the same time and must depart from Changi International Airport, Singapore to Narita International Airport, Tokyo
  • Prize redemption is only valid upon presentation of the original prize letter
  • No changes or amendments are permitted once the booking is confirmed and the tickets have been issued
  • If the winner and/or their travel companion cancel or miss their flights or accommodation, new flight and accommodation bookings will be made at the expense of the winner and their travel companion

PageGroup requests the winner to share a short write-up on the trip and provide at least 2 photos from the trip for PageGroup’s exclusive to use in all marketing materials and purposes.

Any additional costs including but not limited to spending money, other meals, travel and personal insurance, items of a personal nature, room preferences or in room and other incidental charges relating to the accommodation, other transfer not stated above and all other ancillary costs are not included and are the responsibility of the winner and their travel companion.

It is the entrant’s responsibility to ensure that they have valid travel documentation, including but not limited to valid passports and visas, which meet the requirements of immigration and other government authorities at the destination. Any fines, penalties, payments or expenditure incurred as a result of such documents not meeting the requirements of those authorities will be sole responsibility of the winner and their travel companion.

PageGroup and its associates’ agencies and companies make no representation as to the safety, conditions or other issues that may exist at any destination. International travel advice can be obtained from various sources including government, the web site of Singapore Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Singapore Women’s Weekly (subscription for 12 issues):

  • The prize is not convertible into cash and is not transferrable
  • The redemption is only valid upon presentation of the original prize letter

Singapore Association of Administrative Professionals

  • The prize is not convertible into cash and is not transferrable
  • The prize must be claimed within 12 months from date of issue

Browhaus and Spa Esprit

  • The prize is not convertible into cash and is not transferrable
  • The prize must be claimed by 31st December 2016
  • The redemption is only valid upon presentation of the original prize vouchers

Online job advertising package:

  • The prize is not convertible into cash and is not transferrable
  • The prize must be claimed within 12 months from date of issue
  • The package includes job advertisement on social media (Facebook and LinkedIn), Google, Michael Page Singapore and Page Personnel Singapore websites and participating job boards

2D1N weekend stay  from Amara Singapore

  • The prize is not convertible into cash and is not transferrable
  • The prize must be claimed by 30th September 2016
  • The redemption is only valid upon presentation of the gift certificate
  • No changes or amendments are permitted once the booking is confirmed
  • If the winner cancel or miss their stay, new bookings will be made at the expense of the winner

If any prize (or part of any prize) is unavailable, PageGroup, in its sole discretion reserves the right to substitute the prize (or part of any prize) with a prize to the equal value and/or specification subject to written directions from a regulatory authority. No component of the prize can be transferred or redeemed for cash.

Tax implications may arise from the prize winnings and the winner should seek independent financial advice prior to accepting the prizes.

For any reason that any of the prize winners cannot attend the event, PageGroup will attempt to contact said prize winner within 14 days of the date of the prize announcement. In the event that said prize winner cannot be contacted PageGroup will retain the prize for 2 weeks from the date of the judges’ decision. If any prize is unclaimed within 2 weeks of the judges’ decision, the judges may, at their discretion, determine another winner.

Liability and Privacy

PageGroup will not be liable for any loss or damages or for any personal injury sustained as a result of taking of the prize(s) or entering into this completion. PageGroup makes no representation or warranties as to the quality, suitability or merchantability or any goods or services offered as prizes. To the extent permitted by law, PageGroup is not liable for any loss suffered to person or property by reason of any act or omission, deliberate or negligence by PageGroup, its related entities, its employees or agents or contractors in connection with the arrangement for the supply or the supply of goods and services by any person to the prize winners and, where applicable, to any person accompanying the prize winners.

General

All entries become the property of PageGroup. No responsibility is accepted for late or misdirected entries. PageGroup’s decisions in relation to any aspects of the competition are final and binding on every entrant.

By entering the competition, entrants and the winners agree to participate in and co-operate as required with all reasonable media editorial requests relating to the competition, including but not limited to, being interviewed and photographed, filmed and/or chaperoned. Entrants consent to PageGroup using their name, likeness, image and/or voice in the event that they’re a winner (including photograph, film and/or recording of the same) in any media for an unlimited period without remuneration for the purpose of promoting this competition (including any outcome).

The information that entrants provide will be used by PageGroup for the purposes of conducting the competition and to periodically keep entrants informed about the services provided by PageGroup, related entities and its service providers. Entrants consent to the use of their contact details for the purposes described in this competition. PageGroup may use or disclose entrants personal information to a third party in accordance with its privacy policy.

If for any reason this competition is not capable of being conducted by PageGroup as intended, whether because of technical failures (including computer virus), unauthorised intervention or tampering, fraud or any other cause beyond the reasonable control of PageGroup which in PageGroup's opinion affects the administration of the competition, security, fairness or integrity, PageGroup may in its sole discretion cancel, modify or suspend the competition with or without prior notice.
