About Our Client
Our client is a NASDAQ listed US MNC in the R&D and Manufacturing industry. They are known in the market as the pioneer in this space, and also for being a constant innovator with strong employer branding. The business has enjoyed double digit growth in the past financial years, and boasts more than 5,000 headcount globally. Due to their recent financial results and achievements, the Singapore HQ has been expanding and they are now looking for a talented compliance candidate to further enhance the Group's regulatory matters.
As the Compliance Analyst, you will be sitting within the corporate compliance team and your role is pivotal to ensuring that the Group's day-to-day activities are in support of the firm's Sarbanes-Oxley compliance. Your role as a business partner will also involve liaising with various process owners, gathering data, and creating reports to document internal controls over financial reporting. You will be working in a team to review test findings within the Audit Team, facilitate the remediation of control gaps, and escalate possible critical issues to the senior management of the Group.
The Successful Applicant
As the successful candidate, you should possess:
- Degree in Accountancy from a reputable institute/CPA equivalent
- 4-5 years of external audit experience in one of the Big 4
- US GAAP and SOX experience during or after Big 4 is highly advantageous
- Strong interest and passion in compliance related work
- Composed and detail-oriented, with the ability to liaise with senior process owners
- Proficiency in spoken and written English
