About Our Client
Our client is a global leading industry player in business events such as conferences, exhibitions and trade shows for a wide variety of industries. Their clients include well-known global MNCs who are market leaders in their respective industries. To expand their presence in Asia, they are looking for a Business Development Manager to join them in driving the sales of events sponsorships in the Asia-Pacific region.
As the Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for driving the sales of sponsorships of the company's business events and exhibitions in Singapore and the APAC region as well. Your responsibilities also include:
- Acquiring new clients in the APAC region for the sponsorship of business events, with a strong focus on MNCs
- Presenting sales pitches to C-level clients and providing consultative selling of sponsorships and longer-term partnerships
- Developing and maintaining strategic partnerships to ensure sales objectives are made
- Achieving and exceeding the sales target set by the senior management
- Identifying business opportunities in the region to grow the company's market share
The Successful Applicant
The successful applicant should possess:
- At least 3-5 years of experience in B2B sales with a strong sales record
- A degree in any discipline
- Results-oriented mindset with strong drive to meet and exceed sales targets
- Top-notch communication skills, both written and spoken
- An excellent learning attitude and a strong desire to learn about the industry and market trends in the assigned sector
