About Our Client
Our client is a broadcasting giant that owns one of the leading sports channels that cover all major sporting events such as the NFL, NASCAR, NBA, UFC and EPL. With a strong presence in Asia, they are currently expanding their marketing team, looking for a sports enthusiast who is also social media guru to manage the online presence of the sports channels.
You will be responsible for the creation and implementation of an engaging and dynamic communication strategy in the digital space to keep fellow sports fans informed and hooked for more updates. Managing the generation of content across social media platforms including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Snapchat etc, you will be live-tweeting/blogging about sporting events in an extremely fast-paced environment. The digital content would also include videos and graphics that will be published across platforms.
The Successful Applicant
A social media guru who loves sports! And a few years of experience in the sports/media environment, which should leave you proficient in photo- and video-editing. Since sports events hardly follow the Singapore time zone, you should also love the job enough to take on flexible schedule that might include some nights and weekends. And of course, it would also help if you're fluent in English and have a degree in communications, new media or journalism.
