About Our Client
Our client is a US-listed multinational in the oil and gas sector. Their continued interest and rapid growth in Asia Pacific has resulted in the need for a high calibre professional to join their regional office based in Singapore.

Job Description
Reporting to the Regional Tax Director, you will be an integral member of the Asia finance team and be a strong advisor on tax matters. You will be responsible for managing all tax compliance and advisory matters for the operations in the Singapore. You will participate in the forecasting and reporting cycles, and provide quantitative analysis of tax attributes for planning opportunities and compliance requirements. You will ensure the tax position of the country is properly recorded in accordance to US GAAP standards. Working closely with the regional finance team and operational leaders, you will also be involved in providing strategic tax advice in all other areas and providing an understanding of tax implications in the region.

The Successful Applicant
Ideally, you are degree qualified with at least 3 years of relevant experience in the relevant area of tax gained in the Big 4 and Oil & Gas MNC. A self-motivated leader, you possess strong interpersonal and communication skills, and the confidence and gravitas to deal with senior management. You are willing to be hands-on and possess a strong analytical mind with good business acumen. Commercial experience outside of Big Four is a MUST!
