About Our Client
Chope is a home-grown tech start-up providing a range of software and web-based services within the F&B sector, targeting both consumers and businesses. For consumers, Chope provides online restaurant reservations services, available on web and mobile apps. For businesses, they help restaurants use online booking channels, improve yield, and keep better track of their clients' preferences. With nearly 2000 restaurants on the network, Chope is present in Singapore, Hong Kong, Bangkok, Phuket, Shanghai, Beijing, Jakarta, and Bali, with plans for further regional expansion. With 6 offices and more than 80 employees in the region, they are now looking for an experienced UX/UI Product Designer to join them.
The B2C Product Designer will be our users' foremost advocate in internal product discussions. You will own the interface and experience of our diners, including, but not limited to, booking, restaurant discovery, e-commerce, loyalty, redemption, etc. These interactions occur across multiple platforms, including our website, e-commerce platform, and mobile apps. Via empirical data-driven methods such as heatmapping, A/B testing, and conversion tracking, you will be required to make recommendations to optimise our UI and UX.
You will work closely with the technical team to analyse and propose improvements and changes to the website and mobile apps for a more intuitive and positive user experience, sharing best practices, structural improvements, and process insights. You will also be involved in graphic design, creating working elements such as buttons, banners, icons and logos.
The Successful Applicant
To qualify, you must have:
- Strong experience in the design and implementation of web and mobile products
- Experience in working on UX/UI for web and mobile apps
- Ability to use heatmapping and A/B testing to make data-driven decisions
- Strong aesthetic sense with the ability to use design tools such as Photoshop or Sketch
- Ability to speak Mandarin to communicate with the Engineering team based in China
- Excellent communication skills
