About Our Client

Our client is a Singapore-based leader in electrical engineering, providing innovative solutions for grid control and substation automation. A dynamic company with a strong track record, and we're looking for a talented Accountant to join the growing team.

Job Description

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations, ensuring efficient management of AP, AR, GL, and project accounting
  • Maintaining timely and accurate financial records for statutory reporting
  • Ensure timely completion of statutory accounts, financial statements, tax filings, and adherence to all relevant compliance regulations
  • Prepare quarterly GST submissions and work with tax agents on annual corporate income tax filings
  • Conduct annual or periodic stock takes and verify fixed assets
  • Coordinate with internal and external auditors, tax agents, and corporate secretaries to ensure timely completion of audits, tax filings, accounts, and other corporate matters. Assist in preparing audit-related schedules and documentation
  • Assist the Finance Manager with annual budgeting and monthly cashflow forecasting, providing regular and on-demand management information



The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar accounting role
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central and MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, etc.)
  • Meticulous attention to detail, with a proactive, independent, and results-oriented work ethic
