Job Description

  • Processing fixed asset transactions, such as acquisitions, disposals, write-offs, and transfers in SAP, and executing the monthly depreciation run
  • Ensuring accounting entries for Capex Purchase Requisitions comply with Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (FRS) and the institution's Finance Policies & Procedures
  • Preparing monthly journal entries, including accruals, deferred income recognition, and adjustments
  • Monitoring open items in Asset Under Construction (AUC) and Fixed Asset Clearing GL Accounts monthly, and performing asset capitalization upon project completion
  • Preparing monthly audit schedules for Property, Plant & Equipment (PPE), Intangible Assets (IA), and Right-of-Use (ROU) assets
  • Maintaining the SAP Fixed Asset register
  • Generating and distributing fixed asset listings for users to conduct annual physical asset counts
  • Liaising with users on fixed asset-related matters
  • Performing other ad-hoc duties as assigned

The Successful Applicant

  • Diploma in Accountancy and/or equivalent
  • Self-motivated and able to work in fast-paced environment
  • Proficient in MS Office applications
  • Good communication skills
  • Independent and meticulous
