Reporting to the APAC Director (Beauty & Home Care), you are responsible for developing new business opportunities and building the pipeline in the beauty, home care, oral care, and pharmaceutical sectors - managing the growth across the APAC region.

Job Description

  • Conduct extensive market research in Beauty, Home care, Oral care, and Pharmaceutical sectors to uncover new business opportunities and track industry trends.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans for business development, targeting specific markets, customer segments, and potential partnerships.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders through effective communication and negotiation, aiming to drive sales and achieve revenue goals.
  • Collaborate with internal teams such as R&D and Marketing to innovate and develop products that meet market demands and regulatory requirements.
  • Represent the company at industry events and conferences, network with industry professionals, and promote the company's brand and value proposition in the market.



The Successful Applicant

  • About 5 years of Sales/Business Development experience.
  • Comfortable with about 30% of regional travel.
  • Comfortable with an Individual Contributor position, managing activities and developing strategies across the APAC region.
  • Proven strong sales track record in Specialty Chemicals or Advanced Materials Technologies, ideally with a network in Cosmetics, Pharmaceutical Ingredients, FMCG, Beauty & Home Care, and Oral Care sectors.
  • Background knowledge and ability to grasp technical product specifications is essential for effective communication with key stakeholders.
