About Our Client
Our client is a European based global leader in freight services with almost 30 years of experience in the industry. They are highly innovative and have a strong reputation for their efficiency of operations. They have offices in more than 160 countries and are well known for their excellent services in transporting complex cargo.
The candidate will provide efficient customer service and account management to new and existing customers.
*Responsible for coordinating all incoming and outgoing shipments based on allocation.
*Handle import and export shipping documents.
*Liaison work with customers, transporters, carriers and external vendors.
*Manage all customer enquiries.
*Troubleshoot operational issues encountered.
*Handle invoices, receipts and follow up on statement of accounts for payments receipts from customers.
*Customise solutions for customers as and when required.
*Sourcing of space based on customer requirements.
The Successful Applicant
The ideal candidate should have 2 to 5 years of relevant experience in customer service as well. He/She should be resilient and able to work well under pressure, handling complex customer demands. Candidates with experience in freight forwarding, shipping, supply chain and logistics are strongly preferred. Knowledge of dangerous goods will also be an advantage.
