About Our Client
Our client is a global foreign bank with a presence in more than 30 countries.
Job Description
- The key responsibilities for this role include all financial reporting and analysis, supporting APAC controller on finance operations, audit and accounting compliance
- Support on audit matters, liaising with external auditors, ensuring compliance of statutory financial statements to US GAAP and local GAAP regimes, especially for Commercial Distribution Finance (CDF) in Asia region
- Assist with the preparation and submission of regulatory & tax reports; ensure the complete, timely and accurate delivery of all required reporting
- Help to manage and support system implementation and process change across the region
- Support APAC Controller on ad-hoc tasks/projects
The Successful Applicant
- University degree (or equivalent) in Accounting or Finance / professionally qualified accountant is preferred
- Minimum 5 years of proven experience in the financial industry.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office particular in Excel
- Able to work independently whilst providing positive collaboration within a fast-paced, team environment
