As the Payroll Executive / Team Lead, you will oversee all payroll functions, including processing, compliance, and month-end/year-end closing activities. You will ensure accurate payroll operations, manage employee inquiries, and collaborate with auditors and stakeholders to maintain smooth and efficient payroll processes.

Job Description

  • Oversee daily financial activities related to payroll, including month-end and year-end closing processes
  • Handle pre-payroll tasks such as updating employee records, managing government claims, and ensuring all necessary data is accurate and current
  • Execute payroll operations, including processing salary payments, CPF contributions, and handling all payroll-related transactions efficiently
  • Manage post-payroll activities, such as calculating and providing bonuses, closing monthly and yearly accounts, submitting the IRAS Tax Declaration Annual Form 8E, and addressing employee payroll inquiries
  • Regularly review and ensure adherence to statutory requirements and compliance standards
  • Support and advise on structuring and developing the payroll team to ensure smooth and efficient operations
  • Coordinate with internal and external auditors and tax agents on payroll-related matters
  • Act as the primary contact for institutional Finance and HR staff, ensuring alignment and readiness to achieve business objectives
  • Provide coverage for colleagues managing payroll processing for other company entities as needed



The Successful Applicant

  • 5 years' of experience in payroll management, including at least 2 years in a supervisory capacity
  • Proficient in MS Office applications
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills, combined with a customers-focused approach
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with multiple stakeholders simultaneously
  • Capable of delivering results in a fast-paced environment, providing timely updates and reports to senior management
