About Our Client

Our client is a leading maritime service provider which specializes in providing comprehensive marine and offshore solutions to ensure efficient operations in the maritime industry.

Job Description

  • Support internal stakeholders with daily purchase requests and ensure timely issuance of purchase orders to meet fleet operational demands.
  • Provide timely advice to users as needed to ensure procurement activities are efficient and compliant with procedures.
  • Actively participate in project meetings with internal and external stakeholders to deliver an effective procurement plan and intervene early when necessary.
  • Drive procurement programs focused on savings, risk mitigation, and supplier performance monitoring.
  • Prepare tender documents in adherence to company's procurement policy and submit award papers for approval according to the delegation of authority.
  • Manage pre and post-contract activities to ensure agreements with critical suppliers are in place, including timely negotiation for contract renewals.
  • Build and maintain supplier relationships through performance reporting and collaborative engagements.
  • Exciting opportunity to contribute to the development and implementation of green procurement, innovation, and automation projects.
  • Perform any other assigned duties as required.

The Successful Applicant

  • Degree/Diploma in Business Administration/Engineering Studies/Supply Chain and Procurement Management
  • At least 3 years of experience in procurement role dealing with technical spaces and services for marine or offshore
  • Ability to analyse data and provide recommendations for decision making
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP system
  • Knowledge on public tender, environmental, ESG, Power BI would be helpful in contributing to their green procurement initiative
