Our client is a leading Singapore-based shipping company with a global presence. It has grown significantly over the years to become one of the largest container shipping companies in Southeast Asia. It offers comprehensive shipping services, connecting major trade routes across Asia, Africa, South America, the Middle East, and Oceania.

Job Description

  • Manage a group of agencies in the Asia Pacific region, ensuring they adhere to corporate governance standards and achieve high performance
  • Oversee the process of setting up new agencies in the region, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements and corporate standards
  • Lead initiatives to improve agency performance, aligning with key performance indicators
  • Collaborate with other departments to improve agency performance in the region
  • Partner with the Finance Controller to oversee financial operations, including budgeting, expense management, and dividend declarations
  • Lead and contribute to strategic planning processes that aim to enhance operational efficiency and competitiveness
  • Provide financial and analytical support to inform decision-making and drive successful project execution in the region
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with local partners to foster effective collaboration and ensure compliance with corporate governance standards

The Successful Applicant



  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics or Maritime with at least 2 years of relevant working experience
  • Proven track record of successfully managing complex projects and delivering results
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Self-motivated and able to think critically
